The Real Deal, True Startup Stories Without The Fuzz And Fogg

Turning your busy days into a new business.

Hey,

So, there you go, another blog that you can subscribe to that is sending you mixed signals about turning your idea into a €100K MRR business… No, kidding!

The first response from my friends/family was, another newsletter?

I’ve been meaning to send this for a while.

After starting the Podcast with Onnick we thought about the right approach to start this… Is there a right approach?

After selling my shares in my startup, I’m starting something new.

I’m jumping into the world of building in public together with Onnick.

I’ll be sharing everything—wins, losses, and all the messy bits in between.

Together with Onnick we talk about it on the podcast, and we write about it to a bigger audience on our Newsletter.

It’s a bit scary. But it feels right.

So, why did we sell?
Selling wasn’t an easy decision. But after years of hard work, I knew it was time. I needed something different.

More control over my time and energy.

A fresh challenge. The right opportunity came by and we decided to take it…

So, I let go. And now, here we are. Out on the streets with a fresh and open mind..

What’s next?
I’ll be building new businesses, big and small in the open. Sharing the behind-the-scenes. From product ideas to marketing flops. From big wins to the smallest mistakes.

Some of it will be personal. Like how we balance entrepreneurship with life. Other times, it’ll be all about growth tactics or lessons learned.

No filters. Just the real stuff. We promise.

Why do this?
Because we learn better together. By sharing our journey, we hope to make your path smoother.

And who knows? Maybe you’ll find inspiration or even avoid a few mistakes.

We’re in this together.

And we believe that there isn’t that much pure and authentic content out there that talks about real statistics.

For example, we just launched the podcast and hit 18 subscribers on Spotify and 7 on YouTube.

These stats are not staggering, but that’s what’s important to share!

Turning this into reality still feels a bit strange, and I think that one of the most important items to share with everyone is the good but especially the ugly of running your own business.

What happens when you sell, and you are back at 0 to decide what is next in your life?

Currently I am right in that spot, and I feel like it’s time to talk about the struggles, but opportunities and chapters in public.

So, here’s to this new chapter. More vulnerable. More open. Let’s see where it goes.

I’ll be sharing updates regularly. If you’re into this idea, hit reply.

Let me know what you'd like us to talk about.

Talk soon,

Axel & Onnick
